From Engineer to Industry Leader: Shenbagaraj Gurusamy Journey

Gurusamy began his career in 1991 as a field engineer at ECE Elevator India, part of the Billa Group. His early days were filled with hands-on experiences in testing, commissioning, and delivering high-quality elevator solutions to satisfied customers. “In those years, I was deeply involved in handling projects independently, ensuring we followed a meticulous process to deliver elevators that met the highest standards,” he recalls.

His career took a significant turn in 1998 when he migrated to Dubai to work with the renowned Mitsubishi Elevator Corporation. Here, Gurusamy transitioned from maintenance to project management, overseeing the operation of over 2,000 elevators and leading significant infrastructure projects, including the ambitious Red Line Metro project in Dubai. “The real estate boom provided incredible opportunities, and I was fortunate to be at the forefront of it,” he reflects.
